Disney Villains Week: Maleficient Inspired Makeup

In anticipation of the upcoming film Maleficent starring the amazing Angelina Jolie, we attempted a Maleficent inspired eye look. Like we previously stated, we’re no experts, and we don’t claim to be beauty gurus. We just enjoy playing around with makeup.

It really takes a village to actually do a makeup look. I loosely based this look on the recently released Maleficent movie poster. I don’t know how the good people on Pinterest and Youtube make the application of makeup seem so easy! Anyway here are the millions of products I used for the Maleficent look.

Maleficent make up

Primer: Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Inner corner: Urban Decay Money
Eyelid: WnW light green from Comfort Zone Palette
Crease: Urban Decay Infamous
Contour: Urban Decay Rock Star (used to create dimension above the crease color)
Lower lashline (inner half): Urban Decay Money
Lower lashline (outer half): Urban Decay Infamous
Tightline: Physicians Formula Shimmer Eyeliner – Black
Eyeliner: Essence Superfine Eyeliner Pen – Black Waterproof
Mascara: Maybelline Lash Discovery – Very Black Waterproof
Eyelashes: Eye Noon #501
Eyelash glue: Duo Eyelash Adhesive

Whew!!!! Doesn’t even look like I used all that stuff. Hope you guys enjoyed the look. Stay tuned for more villainous fun! As always feel free to request any swatches or “inspired-looks” you would like to see.

Until our next adventure,

J.

  1. Great job! I didn’t even know this movie was coming out. Have you done any other looks like this? I would love to check them out as well.

    • Thanks Amanda! You’re so nice. I have such a hard time coming up with looks, my goal is try and make the looks a little more practical? This is my first villains look. The only other one post we made was the princess one. Hahaha we’ll try to come up with more looks in future posts.

      • Of course, I love the everyday can wear it out of the house look! If it was super over dramatic it would just be like costume makeup in my opinion. Looking forward to those future posts :).
